Impact of the Institutional Stakeholder's Opinion towards Sustainable Development in Business Education

Abstract: The transformation of society in the direction of a more sustainable future is fundamentally influenced by educational institutions. Educational institutions are at the forefront of the movement towards sustainable development through knowledge generation, research, outreach and dissemination. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of stakeholders in Education institutions to promote sustainable development. This emphasizes the necessity of educational institutions playing a wider role in promoting sustainable development pathways through growing and distributing knowledge, developing capacity through training, and assisting local people in building resilience. Quantitative and descriptive research has been adopted in this study and required data collected using structured questionnaires and schedules from the stakeholders of educational institutions, the collected data have been analyzed using chi-square, Frequency and Percentage analysis. The study finds that educational institutions are the only way to integrate economic growth and social development in achieving sustainable development in the economy.
