Type locality: South Africa, Pretoria; Type depository: holotype male in TMSA. Distribution. DR Congo (Ghesquière 1940), Namibia (Park & De Prins 2019b), South Africa (Meyrick 1913). Remarks. This species was reported from DR Congo by Ghesquière (1940) based on material collected from Elisabethville (leg. Seydel).
