For the culture of those who speak and write in a language, the importance of a spelling dictionary developed by the relevant academic institutions is incontestable. Since access to public writing is almost universal, including social networks, advertising, filling in forms etc., the risk of making errors is enormous, and sadly, as far as the Republic of Moldova is concerned, quite real.
