The Role of Civil Society Involvement in Crisis Management – is a task focused on exploring the increasingly recognized role of civil society in crisis management. In T2.3, civil society includes volunteers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and local communities. In order to identify the main challenges and best practices relating to the role of civil society in crisis management, a set of qualitative research methods were employed including semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and case studies with SnR organizations and volunteers, as well as local communities.
