Abstract: This research studies mathematical model for the dynamics of Ebola virus disease incorporating quarantine and public campaign as controls. The model was developed as a system of six (6) non-linear ordinary differential equations. The population is divided into six (6) compartments, namely: Susceptible S(t), Latent L(t), Infectious I(t), Quarantined Recovered R(t), and Dead D(t). We obtained and analysed the equilibrium states of the model for stability .The effective Basic Reproduction Number was obtained, which suggests that if , the Disease free equilibrium state is locally asymptotically stable, meaning that the disease dies out in a population, or if , the Disease free equilibrium state is unstable meaning that disease persi...
