MONITORING THE LEVEL OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TEMPORARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Implementation of monitoring studies in the process of development of pedagogical skills of teachers in school education is an urgent problem of time. They allow you to determine the real state of the educational process, the dynamics of its changes, identify problems in the work of teachers, find out the causes of their emergence, as well as monitor the quality of work of teachers and make management decisions about the quality of education of students. The article’s purpose. The article is devoted to the problem of monitoring the level of professional skill of a modern school teacher. The concept and essence of monitoring the level of professional skill of the teacher of the modern school are revealed. The value and technological functions of monitoring are considered, the purpose of monitoring the professional activity of the teacher and the pedagogical conditions for implementing the monitoring of the level of professional skill of the teacher, which influence the main indicator of the mission of educational activity – quality of educational services, are determined. Methodology. The analysis of scientific sources shows that the need to adapt education to the needs of modern society necessitates the search for scientifically sound assessments of its quality and constant monitoring of its development. A qualitative level of education is ensured in education through appropriate mechanisms of monitoring the level of professional activity of the school pedagogical team. Based on the analysis of the scientific literature, it is established that monitoring is a system of collecting, processing and disseminating information about the activity of the educational system, which provides continuous monitoring of its status and provides a forecast of its development. Scientific novelty. The theoretical generalization and prediction of practical solution of the problem of monitoring the level of teacher’s professional skill were made. The stages, criteria and indicators of monitoring studies of the teacher’s skill level are systematized. Conclusions. The use of monitoring studies of teachers’ professional skills in the practice of managing an educational institution gives an opportunity to analyze, adjust, predict pedagogical activity, it stimulates teachers to self-development and self-improvement, increases the quality level of education
