World: Australia (Mayer 1882), Mozambique (Barnard 1955), India (Mayer 1890). India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Mayer 1890 as Metaprotella haswelliana f. taprobanica Mayer, 1890; Sundara Raj 1927). Remarks: Report from India requires confirmation.
