In the context of EU project DiverIMPACTS, the focus of WP5 is to map barriers to crop diversification and to identify relevant strategies to overcome these barriers in order to facilitate and accelerate the transition to diversified cropping systems. Based on the previous identification of barriers (Morel et al., 2020) and operational solutions (see report 'Addressing barriers to crop diversification: key elements of solutions identified across 25 case studies’), the roles of actors were further discussed and translated into key recommendations for key actors (policy makers, value chain actors, and farm-level solutions).
