Abstract The experimenting community is a pedagogically based strategy, where experimenting and playing is at the center of the activities in a pre-school, a primary school or an after school club. This article describes this pedagogical approach. The experimenting community is a way for pre-school teachers and teachers to support children’s creative and meaning-making based use of digital media and digital technologies when getting online and using narratives as a source of material when playing and communicating locally, regionally and even globally.
