In this deliverable we describe the characteristics of registries that are FAIR by means of a common metadata model that enables interconnecting existing core registries and ontology services needed for implementing Findability and Interoperability in data and services. The focus of this report is on how registries can be designed, extended and/or implemented to better follow the FAIR principles, defining a number of characteristics to expose FAIR, machine actionable behaviour for the registry at three levels: the registry as an informational object or service, information about the registry, and the registry’s machine actionable content.
