EXPRESSION OF HUMAN APPEARANCE IN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH ZOONYM COMPONENT

In this article, analysis has been made of French phraseological units with a zoonymic component to describe a person's appearance from different angles. Phraseologisms with a zoonym component have been analyzed as one of the most expressive means of expressing physical characteristics of a person, facial features, cleanliness of a person's appearance and attractiveness. It has also been found that such phraseologies are verbalized mainly through universal zoonyms that have a negative connotation
