‘Study skill’ is an umbrella term that includes any skill that helps the learner to learn better and understand faster resulting in acquiring knowledge. This study attempts to find out thelevel of a selected set of study skills and the differences between (i) male and female prospective secondary grade teachers, (ii) prospective secondary grade teachers studying in rural and urban institutes, and (iii) in girl’s institute and co-education institutes.Survey method was adopted for the study.
