Groups of economic agents (households, non-financial corporations, state, non-governmental organizations, etc.) operate under turbulent conditions of fundamentally new socio-economic relations` development. That is due to the economic digitalization and e-commerce development as an integral part of this progress. All components of the national and global economy are affected by changes due to digitalization, including the labor market. This paper aims to analyze the impact of e-commerce on labor market trends in the context of socio-economic relations` digitalization. The paper examines the problems of the digital economy development and its impact on the labor market. The key drivers for change in this context are highlighted: the network economy and electronic platforms development. Analysis of the interrelationships at the macro- and micro-level was carried out concerning the successful development of e-commerce as a key factor influencing both national and global economic sectors, in particular, the labor market. Trend analysis in the development of e-commerce was carried out in terms of key indicators over the 2014-2021 period. Conclusions are reached on significant and stable rates of e-commerce development over the analyzed period. The key role of electronic platforms in enabling the development of micro-companies is emphasized, particularly in removing barriers to their entry into global markets. The specific focus of the paper is on the significant social role of e-commerce platforms in developing the labor market for vulnerable population groups in developing countries. Conclusions are reached on the considerable role of digital solutions in achieving the social goals of increasing financial inclusion and economic equality. Threats of e-commerce development concerning established employment structure are highlighted, particularly for the labor market groups with insufficient qualifications in the context of digitalization challenges. The prospects for future research are to study the specifics of the labor market`s development in the context of wide implementation of e-commerce latest technologies, in particular, meta-space and virtual reality
