The World Bank and the International Household Survey Network (IHSN), are providing data discovery and management tools to producers of microdata in over 100 countries and agencies. These tools cover all phases of survey implementation, from survey design to data dissemination. Our tools include open source DDI compliant data curation tools, comprising: A Metadata Editor, Data Deposit Application and Data Dissemination Application. Our tools are being used in National Statistics Offices, as well as by universities and international development agencies. Programs supported by the World Bank and the IHSN have resulted in the documentation, using DDI, of over 6600 surveys from developing countries. The metadata for these surveys are available ...
