This paper has the ultimate aim of understanding the relationship between emotional intelligence, academic well-being and general well-being in a population of Portuguese students during and after Covid-19. The research uses a quantitative methodology based on a questionnaire survey applied to university students at different levels. A cross-sectional study was carried out using the snowball sampling technique. The sample collected is made up of 570 university students, mostly women, in a ratio of 69% to 31%, with an average age of 20 years.
