Background:-Gap arthroplasty is a one of the techniques used to release TMJ bony ankylosis with reported many advantages and disadvantages. The aim of this study was to present and evaluate newsemi-sagittal split osteotomy of ankylosing bony massto release temporomandibular joint bonyankylosis.
