Abstract. On the irrigated lands of the Samarkand region have been studied some elements of the structure of the rye crop of varieties Vakhshshskaya 116 and Shalola, as well as the number of grains per spike, sowing time, and per 1000 grains per spike, the effect of mineral fertilizers. With the increase in the rate of mineral fertilizers in the early (1.10) sowing of Vakhshskaya 116 cultivar, it was observed that some elements of the yield structure were reduced due to plant dormancy. It was noted that the medium-term sown variants were higher than the early and late sown variants. The lowest rate in this variety was observed in late (1.11) planted varieties.
