The transformations of five herbicides viz. pendimethalin, fluchloralin, oxadiazon, oxyfluorfen and butachlor as well as two insecticides, carbofuran and hydromethylnon by microbial and photochemical means resulted in the isolation and characterisation of several interesting photoand microbial metabolites.
