Nowadays, solar powered air conditioning machines have made increasing progress as air conditioning systems are almost a must in every building in Indonesia. Indonesia is a tropical area that can receive sunlight all year round. This study examines the design and performance of a solar-powered air conditioning system that is integrated with a photovoltaic (PV) system consisting of PV panels, solar chargers, DC power controllers/inverters and batteries.
