The icing is an hazard which importance for the aerospace industry is growing in the 2 last few years. Developing sensors that can detect the existence of Supercooled Large Droplets 3 (SLD) conditions is one of the most important aims in order to minimize the icing hazards. In the 4 present paper a study of the Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors performance as an Flight Icing Detection 5 System that predicts the conditions of an icing cloud is done. The test matrix has been performed 6 in the INTA Icing Wind Tunnel with several conditions.
