The influence of democracy on the economic development of the country

Politics and economy, economics and politics is a never-ending question of whether politics affects the economy and whether the economy affects politics. The core of the unknown reflects the form of the state and its internal order. When we talk about a democratically organized state, we usually have in mind a politically stable and economically organized state, where both directions strive for the general progress and well-being of the state, the economy and its citizens. Unfortunately, we note that the statistics of economic growth or stagnation show otherwise, at least in terms of the impact of politics on development projects, because the economy cannot function without political support and vice versa, the state cannot function without a stable economy. This operation is often linked to the influence and form of democracy, which today is not entirely that democracy, at least not that which we would like, because it does not reflect the will of the citizens. From practice, from our environment, from reviews in neighboring countries, we see that democracy has gone in the direction of indirect democracy, where political parties are the ones who create the political will of citizens (partycracy) and thus support those forms of economy that are financially or otherwise linked to a certain direction of politics. Through such behavior, the corruption of an individual political (democratic?) party is mainly shown, which through its goals directs economic development, encourages those believers or political supporters who will provide them with the means with which they will remain on the political position as long as possible. The interest is mutual and allows a certain dominance of politics and economic effects in the interest of a particular group. Due to this finding, democracy in the eyes of the Slovenian and European voter is increasingly losing its meaning, because parties have taken over power in the space and impose their candidates for electoral lists on voters in parliamentary or local elections. In order to avoid unanimity or citing data that politicians or their supporters (businessmen) would say that we are citing something that is not true, we made a comparison between the data obtained in the Republic of Slovenia and the data obtained in the Republic of Croatia. The essential purpose of writing the research was to verify the views of the impact of democracy on the economy and the role of the economy in the development of democracy, so we had to touch on the will of the people, review the electoral systems, the constitution and laws from independence to the present, and make a comparison of the effects of parties on economic development and electoral systems, as a result of the impact of democracy on economic growth. Interesting are the periods of development and the periods of influence of individual left or right parties, which, after defending the constitution and regulations of a particular state, cite the same goals and directions of development, but in nature the orientation of an individual political option is visible, which through the defense of the interests of the state and the development of democracy, directs economic development according to its beliefs and mainly according to its interests
