Group of sedilioti. Medium-sized species with large eyes and thick, often barrel-shaped petiolar nodes, siubtruncate or broadly rounded above. Antennal scapes short to moderate in length, sometimes not surpassing «occipital» lobes in repose. Strong tendency to develop abundant pubescence (appressed or decumbent) and widespread sculpture.
