Foam rolling is a method used by professionals such as physical therapists, athletic trainers, and strength and conditioning coaches, as well as fitness enthusiasts to relieve tight muscles and/or to break down scar tissue. The foam roller’s popularity has increased in recent years and can be found in variety of settings, such as gyms, clinics, and stores.
