ABSTRACT: Within an intercultural dialogue and even between the two religions, we consider that the starting point should be one about which both parts agree. Christianity and Islam are religions that consider the birth of Christ a miracle. At a quick look in the Quran and the Bible, we can notice that both sources are alike in many ways. Taking into consideration the appearance of both writings, it is possible that the Biblical description might have influenced the Quran writing or that the Quran writing might confirm the Biblical narrative or that the Quran writing might confirm the Biblical narrative completing it with some other aspects which are not mentioned in the Biblical text.
