ACTIVITIES OF THE VORONEZH BRANCH OF THE ALL-RUSSIAN SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL MONUMENTS IN THE FIELD OF PROTECTION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONUMENTS

The article is devoted to the activities of the regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments for the protection of archaeological monuments in the Voronezh Region. The main source of information when writing the article was archival documents that are stored in the State Archive of Socio-Political History of the Voronezh region and are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The analysis of archival documents made it possible to identify specific activities carried out by the regional branch of the Society for the Preservation and Museification of Archaeological Monuments
