Abstract: Background: Diabetes mellitus is among the most common chronic illnesses in childhood, it is a chronic metabolic condition affecting the child’s physical and physiological growth and development. Aim of the study: Study the effect of educational intervention on pediatric diabetes self care practices. Research design: A quasi experimental design (one group pre/post test) was used in the study. Settings: The present study was carried out at pediatric outpatient unit affiliated to Suez Canal University Hospitals and Health Insurance Hospital at Ismailia city.
