This dataset has been provided to make an accurate digital twin of wooden shingle envelopes. Wooden shingles are one of the most sustainable vernacular building systems that were widely used to cover building roofs and facades by expert craftspeople. This roofing technique extensively depends on craft knowledge and nowadays only a limited number of expert craftspeople know this technique. Additionally, there was no documentation or digital drawing of this local building system, before this research.
