Extraction Studies of Palladium(II) with 4-S-Benzyl-1-p-Cl-Phenyl-5-Phenyl-2, 4-lsodithiobiuret (BPPTB)

Manuscript received 20 May 1976 ; accepted 15 July 1976 The extraction studies of Pd(II) with 4-S-benzyl-1-\(p\)-Cl-phenyl-5-phenyl-2, 4-iso­dithiobiuret have been studied in detail and the analytical procedure for the determination of Pd in micro amounts has been suggested. The stepwise conditional stability constants of 1.2 complex were determined by Yatsimirskii's and Leden's methods and are found to be log K1 = 5.45, log K1 = 5.39 and log K1 = 5.56, log K1 .= 5.18 respectively
