Colletes heilongtanensis Niu, Zhu & Kuhlmann, 2013, sp. n.

Colletes heilongtanensis sp. n. (Figs 23 a–f, 24 a–f, 32 r) Diagnosis. The female belongs to a group of species with very finely and densely punctate terga (Fig. 24 d) namely C. babai Hirashima & Tadauchi 1979 (only known from Japan), C. sodalis (Cameron) and C. yanruae sp. n. C. heilongtanensis sp. n. differs from C. babai and C. sodalis in the distinctly narrower apical tergal hair bands and the much longer hairs on the scutum (about twice as long as in latter species) while C. yanruae sp. n. has a more densely punctate and matt clypeus (Fig. 29 b). The male has a uniquely shaped S 7 (Fig. 23 e) that best characterizes this species in combination with the finely and densely punctate terga. Description. Male, BL= 8 mm (Fig. 23 a); head broader than long (Fig. 23 b), HW: HL= 45: 40; gena nearly as wide as eye in lateral view, GW: EW = 9: 10; width of metasoma slightly narrower than that between tegulae, MtW: TW= 48: 50. Clypeus slightly convex, broader than long, apical 1 / 4 part smooth, basal 3 / 4 part with oblique spineshaped punctation (Fig. 23 b); antenna short, extending to the apex of scutellum, first flagellomere slightly broader than long, 0.7 time as long as second flagellomere, second flagellomere longer than broad, nearly 1.4 times as long as broad, flagellomeres 3–11 roughly twice as long as broad and nearly equal to each other in length; malar area medially shorter than width of mandible base, about 2 / 3 long as width of mandible base; facial fovea narrow, only as wide as antennal flagellum; vertex behind eye rounded; propodeum laterally covered with sparse long erect hairs, integumental sculpture completely visible; disc of scutum with dense and coarse punctation, i=1.0d; posterior margin of T 1 translucent and orange; punctation on disc of T 1 round and dense, i=1.0d; metasomal terga with apical hair bands, the band on T 1 interrupted medially, and that on T 2 –T 5 uninterrupted and nearly 1 / 6 width as that of the related exposed terga; sloping anterior and lateral anterior parts of T 1 covered with erect long numerous plumose hairs, and disc of T 1 –T 2 also with erect long sparse plumose hairs (Fig. 23 f); apical lobe of S 7 elongated belt-shaped, apex gradually curve to lateral side, basal part broaden and acute laterally (Fig. 23 e); genitalia as showing in Fig. 23 c and Fig. 23 d. Antennal flagellum ventrally blackish brown; femur of fore legs blackish brown, coxa and trochanter of all legs blackish brown, other parts dark brown. Face covered with dense long yellowish white plumose hairs; gena, scutum, scutellum and mesepisternum covered with long paler white plumose hairs. Female, BL= 9 mm (Fig. 24 a); head broader than long, HW: HL= 53: 45 (Fig. 24 b); gena slightly narrower than eye in lateral view, GW: EW= 10: 12 (Fig. 24 f); width of metasoma narrower that between tegulae, MtW: TW= 54: 60. Clypeus broader than long, slightly concave medially, with round punctation (Fig. 24 b); disc of scutum with irregularly formed round punctation, i= 1.5 –2.0d (Fig. 24 c); malar area medially shorter than width of mandible base, only 1 / 2 long as width of mandible base; facial fovea narrower than width of antennal flagellum; vertex behind eye rounded; propodeum laterally covered with sparse long erect hairs, integumental sculpture completely visible (Fig. 24 e); posterior margin of T 1 translucent and brown; punctation on disc of T 1 fine, round and dense, i= 0.2 d; T 1 only with lateral hair patches, T 2 –T 4 with complete apical hair bands, the bands narrow, nearly 1 / 7 width as that of the related exposed terga, T 2 with broad basal hair band, nearly 1 / 5 width as the exposed T 2; sloping anterior and lateral anterior parts of T 1 sparsely covered with erect long plumose hairs (Fig. 24 d). Antennal flagellum ventrally blackish brown; tarsus of all legs dark brown, other parts blackish brown. Face, vertex and scutum covered with dark yellowish brown erect long plumose hairs, intermixed with some blackish erect long plumose hairs (Fig. 24 b, 24 c, 24 f), especially the much longer hairs on scutum (Fig. 24 a, 24 c); mesepisternum covered with longer white plumose hairs (Fig. 24 e). Type material. Holotype: 1 ♂, China, Yunnan, Kunming, Heilongtan (102 º 42 ′E 25 º00′N), 1900m, 24.III. 1958, coll.
