Abstract: Education is offered through television broadcasting in several parts of the world today. Major reasons for such an approach are to increase accessibility to knowledge and improve more on information technology for larger and increasing numbers of people who are ready to learn in the society. The world has become a global village that it is a useful instructional strategy for reaching people. More so, that several other workers who cannot afford to leave their jobs for full-time studies are benefited. In essence, educational television is something every open and distant educator should incorporate in his or her studies because various institutions are increasingly less able to cope with costs of offering education to the need
