The Digitalisation of the Educational Space of a Cultural and Artistic Institution of Higher Education

The purpose of the article is to examine the features of digitalisation of the educational space of cultural and artistic institutions of higher education in today’s conditions. Research methodology. The authors of the article apply general scientific and special research methods, such as theoretical analysis, synthesis, description, comparison, systematisation, and generalisation. Scientific novelty. The article considers the special features of the educational process at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts in the context of today’s challenges in the conditions of digitalisation. Conclusions. It is revealed that digitalisation fundamentally changes the organisational principles and structure of the educational space of higher education institutions. It is determined that the transformation of education through digitalisation occurs not only on the basis of personal choice but also at the institutional level. Digitalisation significantly affects and changes the management of educational content, methods, means, and training technologies, organisational forms of learning, educational and cognitive activities, making the educational space mobile, flexible, personalised, and differentiated. The article demonstrates that the main directions of digitisation of the educational space in cultural and artistic institutions of higher education are: the creation of educational resources and digital platforms that support interactive multimedia content; the development and implementation of innovative computing, multimedia, and computer-oriented educational tools and devices for creating a digital educational space (multimedia classes, STEM research centres, laboratories, integrated groups, mixed learning groups); the development of distance education using cognitive and multimedia technologies. The digitisation of the educational space offers technological innovations to improve learning outcomes and provide new opportunities for students and teachers, which is achieved with the help of digital marketing aimed at organising interaction with educational and support staff, academic and teaching staff, graduates, students and applicants through various digital communication channels
