ABSTRACT An attempt has been made to compile the ethnobotanical utilization of 24 species of medicinal plants related to women reproductive problems used by the Kolam healers belonging to 19 genera of 14 families of angiosperms. The total of 24 remedies were recorded under women reproductive problems. Kolams, Naikpods, Pardhans, Gonds, Thotis, Chenchus and Mathuras are the tribals belonging to Adilabad district. And the traditional knowledge regarding the use of these plants is widely applied to these ethnic groups. After comparative literature analysis, we have found some medicinal uses, which are quite interesting and additions to the existing Knowledge base.
