Abstract:-Nowadays, wireless communication has become an important aspect in almost every sphere of life. As wireless devices are battery-constrained, energy competency is an important issue in analyzing the performance of wireless networks. With the advent of Green Networking, energy efficient mechanisms are need of hour. Channel capacity and signal bandwidth are two of the important factors that can affect the energy levels of the wireless devices especially during handover.
