The objective of this white paper is to present the results or the on-going work of the first HPC technology projects initiated within the Horizon 2020 programme, namely within calls FET-HPC-2014, 2016 and 2017. We have also analysed the projects’ impact on the application domain. The results of these projects have been compiled (which has led to a database of project results) and analysed (with an objective to determine how their results can be re-used and what mechanisms are needed to achieve that). We have established that the FET-HPC projects have delivered a large set of IPs (intellectual property elements), which represents an important asset for the entire European HPC community.
