Abstract: Under-five mortality has remained a significant public health concern in Bangladesh despite a consistent decline over the previous few years. The purpose of this study was to identify the socioeconomic and demographic risk factors for under-five mortality in Bangladesh. Data from the 2017–18 Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey are used in the study. The study outcome variable was survival time, which was obtained from the variable age at death for the event and the current age of the child for the censored observation.
