The present study was undertaken to study the relationship between self efficacy and job satisfaction of secondary school teachers. A sample of 100 teachers from government and private secondary schools of Amritsar district was selected for the purpose of investigation. The findings of the study were: 1) There exists no significant difference in self-efficacy of private and government secondary school teachers. The type of school does not affect the self-efficacy of secondary school teachers. 2) There exists a significant difference in job satisfaction of private and government secondary school teachers. 3) There exists significant relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction of secondary school teacher
