The language of each culture has its own typical characteristics. Vietnamese has been affected by Eastern culture. Therefore, its grammar is more highly flexible than Western grammar. In this era of globalization and information, English is getting more and more popular and widely used all over the world. This is why the comparison and contrast between English and Vietnamese in every aspect is practicable and meaningful.
