Studio Ghibli movies enjoy immense popularity globally, and a special place in the hearts of movie buffs especially because of its aesthetic appeal, and the beautiful relationships portrayed between the characters. However, many critics have been dismissive of these movies because of their anime form which, according to critics, renders the movies less important than motion pictures and are only suitable for children. The suitability of anime for only children could be a potent area open for debate, but Ghibli movies do not only deal with seemingly unimportant problems.
