MOTOR ABILITIES: THE STRUCTURE OF DEVELOPMENT IN BOYS 12-14 YEARS

The purpose of the study is to determine the structure of development of motor abilities in boys 12-14 years. Methodology. The study involved boys 12 (n = 35), 13 (n = 36), 14 (n = 36). The analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature data, pedagogical testing and methods of mathematical statistics of processing of research results are used in the work. The research materials were analyzed in the program of statistical analysis – IBM SPSS 23. Factor analysis was carried out. The factor analysis uses a model of principal components with the rotation method: Varimax with Kaiser normalization. Results. Based on a community analysis, it is determined that the most informative of 12-14 year olds are tests that characterize the development of static leg and arm muscle strength, dynamic abdominal muscle strength, and movement coordination (12 year olds); tests that characterize the development of the static strength of the leg muscles, the static and dynamic strength of the muscles of the abdomen and arms (boys 13 years old); tests that characterize the development of static and dynamic strength of the leg and arm muscles, as well as the coordination of movements (boys 14 years old). Scientific novelty of the study is to substantiate the features of the development of motor abilities in middle-school students based on multidimensional statistics. Conclusions. Factor analysis allowed to determine informative indicators to control the development of motor skills in boys 12-14 years. Boys have the greatest weight in the development of the relative and static strength of the leg muscles (19.74%; 18.795%; 15.878% respectively). In boys 12 years in the second place the development of relative and static force of the muscles of the abdomen and relative strength of the muscles of the back (17,135%), in boys 13 years – the development of dynamic and static force of the muscles of the shoulder girdle (16,851%), in boys 14 years – development of dynamic and static force of the muscles of the shoulder girdle and dynamic force of the muscles of the abdomen (14,116%). In boys 12 years on the third place development of static force of muscles of shoulder girdle and dynamic force of back muscles (14,341%), in boys 13 years – complex development of motor abilities (11,076%), in boys 14 years – development of dynamic and static abdominal muscles and dynamic back muscles (13,558 %)
