Hematological and Biochemical Parameters in Donkey (Equus asinus) during Colostrum Production

It is very important to analyze the hematological and biochemical profile in the donkey during the colostrum period, because these changes that bring us information about the health of the animals. The data obtained during the colostral period were compared with those obtained during the lactation period.The biochemical parameters have a high average value on the first postpartum day (the highest values) and they decrease on day 5 postpartum.
