This presentation was given on Friday 14th January 2022 as part of the EU funded project entitled "Opening Doors" (https://openingdoors4phd.eu). This is the first lecture about Open Science and covers what is an open science approach, what are the different practices that make up open science and then it goes on to give examples of these practices. The slides build on the resources created in the Open Science Skills Workshop - these resources can be found here: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.571715
