National Integration is the feeling of oneness among the citizens of the country and rising above all the parochial loyalties. India is a perfect example of unity in diversity. It is inhabited by many races, castes, religions , languages. It implies a sense of belonging, a feeling of togetherness and unity. The most serious problem faced by India at present is, how to create and maintain the sense of integrity among the people. National integration is under threat due to many factors like caste, regionalism, communalism, linguism, and politics of secession.
