In India, organized retail sector has been modernized, growing at much faster rate, contributing to country"s GDP and providing employment. Apart from that organized retailers are providing better shopping experience to Indian consumers in terms of quality service, quality products, product assortment, and pleasant ambience etc. Organized retail sector is facing lot of challenges like poor infrastructure and technology, less smooth supply chain, untrained human resource, government restrictions on foreign direct investment etc. The future of organized retailing in India is bright.
