Manuscript received 4 December 1975, accepted 8 April 1976 Three 5-aryloxymethy1-1, 3, 4-oxadiazole-2-thiones, fifteen 3-haloarylaminomethy1-5-aryloxy. methyl-1, 3, 4-oxadiazole-2-thiones and fifteen 5-fluoroarylamino acridines have been prepared. Out of these twenty seven compounds have been screened for their antifungal activity against 'Aspergillus niger' and 'Aspergillus litmus'. All of them have been found to possess antifungal activity
