This article discusses the evolution of blended learning in higher education. A bibliometric study approach is attempted. With the development of technology all around, higher education cannot remain unaffected by it. Technology in conjunction with a raging pandemic led to the use of blended learning all over the globe. As different countries imposed different levels of lockdowns, there was no other option but to impart a significant component of education through online learning.
