Human Dirofilariasis is a rare zoonotic infection caused by genus Dirofilaria, which includes more than 40 different species. Human Dirofilariasis caused by D. repens has not been widely recognized in India. Most of the documented cases of human Dirofilariasis recorded in India have presented with ocular manifestations.
