Remarks A species of a predominantly dark brownish-black thorax and abdomen (Fig. 42A, C). The frons has dark frontal setulae uniform length (Fig. 42B). In both sexes of A. impudens, the basal flagellomere is usually dark brown. It is an easy species to recognize in the male because of the large, dark and broad surstylus that is always visible without dissection (Fig. 43).
