Remarks A rather elongate species that most resembles A. melitense Ebejer, 1993 in having strong fronto-orbitals, uniform frontal setulae on a frons that is longer than wide, and long rows of short dorsocentral and acrostichal setae including a prescutellar pair. Unlike A. melitense, A. cypriense does not have any modification of abdominal tergite 4. The original description includes photographs of both sexes.
