The Urban Co-operative banks are the source of recognizing the middle and lower income people from the huge population of country. The importance of UCBs is also identified by Reserve Bank of India. According to RBI, UCBs are the important source of credit available to small and weaker sections of society. But on the other hand, these banks suffer from huge losses due to malfunctioning as well as absence of supportive policies
