Abstract

Anthonympha devota (Meyrick, 1913) (Fig. 8) Calantica devota Meyrick, 1913, Exot. Microlepid. 1: 148. Type locality: Khasis, Assam, NE India. Calantica devota: Moriuti, 1971: 253. Niphonympha devota: Meyrick, 1914: 45. ? Anthonympha devota: Moriuti, 1974: 109. Diagnosis. Wingspan 14 mm. Thorax white. Forewing relatively wide, its width at the middle one-third length of wing; oblique transverse brown band from dorsum reaching hardly more than half across wing and does not merged with dark brown spot extending along distal one-third of costal margin; costal margin with three oblique brown strokes alternated with white ones.
